The Ministry of Finance, with support of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing and Ministry of State Administration, will ensure by 2016 that the annual budget of Internal Investment dedicated to water supply and sanitation has increased by 0.5% over the Total Internal Budget. 40% of the total sectoral Internal Investment Budget, 40% should be for the rural and peri-urban sanitation.
