The Ministries of Sanitation, Water and Hygiene, in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning, will work to get innovative approaches (Community-Led Total Sanitation, hand-dug wells, gravity springs, impluvium, etc.) considered in the post-2015 poverty reduction strategy and national nutrition strategy.

The Ministry of Energy and Hydraulics will cooperate with the Ministry of Land Planning and Decentralisation to develop, by 2016, a capacity building plan for the local authorities in priority municipalities through the implementation of a Public Water Service.

The Ministries of the Environment, Water and Forests, of Energy and Hydraulics, of Health and Public Hygiene will work with the priority municipalities to include training on CLTS, home water treatment techniques and hand-dug wells, the promotion of hand washing and general training of those responsible for water, hygiene and sanitation.
