Bringing together research with policy, practice and networking events

The 2015 Water and Health Conference: Where Science Meets Policy, organized by The Water Institute at UNC, considers drinking water supply, sanitation, hygiene and water resources in both the developing and developed worlds with a strong public health emphasis.

In response to participant feedback, the Water and Health Conference will adopt a new structure this year. Side events will be held each morning, while verbal presentations and plenary sessions will be held each afternoon. The conference staff will again host three days of poster presentations capped by evening receptions. The Conference dinner will still be held on Wednesday evening, October 28 this year. Throughout the Conference, they will seek feedback on the new structure and other aspects of the event. Schedules are under development, but an overview of the Conference week can be seen on the UNC website.

SWA will be holding a side event on Thursday 29 October, 8.30am to 10am on Beyond 'business as usual': Changing behaviors to build sector systems that last.
