Strengthening national processes for achieving SDG6: SWA’s country engagement experience

Tuesday, 29 August, 14:00 to 15:30 | Room: NL 353

Through the promotion of multi-sectoral dialogue, including ministerial meetings, Sanitation and Water for All (SWA), a global multi-stakeholder partnership, has been able to garner greater political attention for WASH.

In order to better understand how to strengthen the WASH sector and ultimately achieve the SDG WASH targets, SWA partners have recently reviewed existing practices by governments around the world and identifi ed ways in which different partners can, and do, work together. In particular these case-studies focus on strengthening government-led national processes.

More information on these findings will be presented and discussed during this session.
